Health Benefits of Palm Wine
Since palm wine is high in amino acids, potassium, magnesium, zinc, and iron. And also has contains vitamin B1, B2, B3, and B6. Drinking palm wine (especially freshly tapped unfermented sap) is a good source of healthy nutrients that helps to build and repair tissues in our body.

Palm wine is a good source of vitamin B2 (riboflavin) that produces energy for the body. Riboflavin also works as an antioxidant that fights and defends against damaging particles in the body known as free radicals. Free radicals can damage cells and DNA, and may contribute to aging, as well as the development of a number of health conditions, such as heart disease and cancer.

Below is a breakdown of some of the health benefits of palm wine (palm tree sap). Palm wine helps with:

Vision
Depression
Fatigue
Nausea
Blood pressure
Slows aging
Prevents cancer
Symptoms of malaria
Promotes skin and hair health
There are also word-of-mouth reports that palm wine helps with male erection. In West African culture, palm wine is credited for increasing sperm in men and breast milk production in women.

Information about Palm wine
Palm wine is an alcoholic beverage created from the fermented sap of various palm trees. It is collected (or tapped) from tall palm trees, or raffia tree which is shorter and thus more accessible. There are reports some people also collect sap from oil palm tree (Elaies guineensis). However, sap from a palm tree (raffia tree) is milkier and sweeter.

Image result for hang over pics

If you have indulged yourself in too much alcohol like the rest of us this Xmas season, then you must have felt the sting of nasty hangovers by now. Well here's some quite cheap and totally natural ways to "cure" your hangovers these holidays.

Coconut Water: Coconut water is very good in curing hangover. Get a
  1. coconut, pour out the water into a cup and drink it. The water helps
to replace five electrolytes found in the blood that gets depleted by
chemicals in the alcohol you consume.
  2. Bananas: it contains potassium: Low potassium can cause shaky
    muscles and high blood pressure.
  3. Eggs: eggs help to destroy the toxins contained in the alcohol.
Also, the vitamin B in eggs reduces hangover symptoms.(Maybe that's why Noodles and eggs seem to always work, I wonder)
  4. Ginger: ginger cures nausea, it also eases constipation, bloating,
    gas and vomiting.
  5. Tomato juice: it supplies adequate simple sugar to energize the
brain and the entire body which takes care of the fatigue or weakness
you feel. It also acts as an anti-inflammation, so you feel less hurt
    from your body.

Here is a great idea for your next brunch, a fancy looking yam dish that is sure to please your guests. It’s a new twist on a beloved classic recipe, yam and eggs. This is somewhat similar to the to-go breakfast Yam cup recipe we created a while back but it’s in a class of its own. Think omelet with a well seasoned yam shell.Do take pictures and share with us when you try the recipe. The social media folks have dubbed this recipe Yamzza, a cheeky combination of Yam and pizza.
